Following high school, Krause enrolled at an acting school called the Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause began to start her professional acting. She was in the Huntington Theater Company's production of Iphigenia 2 in the year 2006. She played Iphigenia for the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
